Ann's Interview with Nadya Suleman, "Octuplet Mom": 2.9.09

Ann asks Nadya why she continued her pregnancies after the first child. It was not until 2006, when Nadya had twins. Nadya used the same fertility clinic each time. adya admits now that it was a selfish act, but at the time, she thought her children "needed siblings" and she needed to provide that for them. She also states a large family has always been her dream and she used the guise of providing siblings to justify the pregnancies.

according to Nadia Sulemans publicist, Mike Furtney, she receives disability payments for three of her 6 children. The nature of the disabilities is undisclosed. A former nanny mentioned that one of boys is autistic.

@ annals:
i heard that as well..apparently she was in an accident of some type. not sure on what type at the moment..checking on that. also revealed is that she is receiving food assistance as well. I have not problem with this except for her deception regarding her financial situation in the beginning. I beleive the mother needs a mental health evaluation and/or therapy before allowing her to bring these children home. Some may not like that, but speaking from my background, I feel it for the best.
